A detour from his recent more acoustic-based works, the piece Cabin Fever was created when Mikael was stuck in a small house for several days due to bad weather. The music, where polyrhythmic organs and vibrant synthesizers create a melodious flow of upbeat electro, can be seen as a homage to some early electronic music pioneers.
